Our
Mission

Create a community of cancer fighters who strive to make original films from script to screen.

Our Story

This is me, Will Dempster, with a sick mohawk (it was the early 2000's when blink 182 was constantly played in my dad's old Toyota, so I thought I was cool with that mohawk). That sick hairdo was right at the start of my Chemotherapy treatments. I remember ripping out my hair like it was weeds from a garden. I meticulously watched myself in the mirror as I carved out the Mona Lisa of mohawks with my bare hands until my dad decided to buzz the rest off for his sake. I was a 10 year old boy going through rigorous rounds of Chemo in order to kill the cancer cells attacking the lymph nodes in my hips. The cancer cells attacked and burst my appendix. That's how I found out I had cancer. A simple appendix surgery turned turned into Burkitt's Lymphoma. A rare diagnosis for a young boy from Philly, but I overcame it.

After months in the Oncology ward at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, I was able to call myself a Cancer Survivor! Now, I want to tell stories. Stories that are fun, exhilarating, dramatic and much more. Everflow's first film will be based off my time in CHOP before I had to undergo the most important surgery of my life. The surgery consisted of taking out tumors from my abdomen. If they were found to be benign, then I would be put into remission. If they were found cancerous, I had a 3% chance to survive the next round of Chemo.

Luckily, I am now living happily in Denver Colorado where my wife and I hike, ski, drink, dance and laugh our way around the state.

Everflow Films is a production company run by people who suffered or are currently suffering a cancer diagnosis. It's for those who strive to be creators after a devastating diagnosis.
